Join us Wednesday January 29 at 1:45 for the next Needlework meeting. Have some great conversation; get some new ideas on technique or upcoming projects. We’d love to have you! Call for more information 705-687-3382.

From our Children’s Programmer

Why reading together is so important. “As parents and caregivers, you are your child’s first and best teachers, and home is where your child begins to read. You play a key role in your child’s early literacy development because you can encourage them in ways that no one else can. When you read, talk and play together, you help develop your child’s knowledge about reading and writing before he can actually read and write. So, read together as often as possible and ensure your child’s success in school and beyond.”  (Taken from Let’s Get ready for Reading, Toronto Public Libraries)

All kids belong at the library! A relaxing interactive place for families to spend time together enjoying literacy based activities.
