BRACEBRIDGE — An brief online police investigation has led to an arrest and charges against a Bracebridge man for having and distributing child pornography Thursday.

They say that on February 13, 2014, officers from the Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and officers from the Bracebridge OPP executed a search warrant at a Bracebridge residence.

As a result of this investigation, 12 electronic devices pertinent to the investigation were seized, which contained images of child sexual abuse, they say in a news release Thursday.

The accused is scheduled to attend a bail hearing tomorrow, February 14, 2014, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge, Ontario.
