Bracebridge declares ‘emergency’ as flood waters rise on north, south Muskoka River

BRACEBRIDGE — The Town of Bracebridge is getting ahead of the spring flooding this year — at least when it comes to anticipating future costs that could be covered by the province.

The town has activated its Emergency Plan as a precaution based on the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Flood Warning for the area.

The MNR reports that flooding is imminent within watercourses in the municipality, including the North and South Branches of the MuskokaRiver and the Black River. For more information, please click the website link below:
