A video released by the Norm Miller PC election campaign purports to show a person stealing one of his election signs.

Friday morning, Parry Sound – Muskoka PC candidate Miller addressed the recent theft of campaign signs from Bracebridge and the surrounding area.

“It is shameful that other political parties have chosen to resort to tactics like this”

stated Miller in a release

An individual was caught on tape apparently shows the person stealing a PC sign from private property and loading it into a small car.

The black and white video appears to have been captured from a nearby home surveillance security camera.

So far there is no indication who the person is, or if they are officially related to a party, or just an individual citizen, who may not like the party or Miller.

The theft was reported and the video provided to the Ontario Provincial Police, say the Miller campaign, which released video of the removal.

“There is no place for this action in any election campaign, and the theft of campaign signs from private property is against the law” concluded Miller.
