Rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE — It’s time for the lock it or lose it lecture again.

Police say that during the past two weeks OPP officers have investigated numerous thefts from motor vehicles in different locations in Huntsville.

In most of the complaints it was found that the vehicles have been left unlocked with personal items being left inside, including wallets that contained cash and identification.

Huntsville OPP would like to remind members of the community to take all of their valuables out of their vehicles, park it in a well-lit area and lock the doors.

Anyone with any information about these thefts from vehicles is asked to contact Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
