Theatre ‘Soiree’ lovely way to start summer season

GRAVENHURST - The 2014 Summer Season Soiree was a smashing success Saturday night, as the Opera House celebrated ’80 Years of Summer Theatre in Muskoka.’

And as a party goes, it was equal to the billing, with a great 90-minute pre-show party, featuring local cuisine and a chance to chat with some of the stars before they took to the stage for a two-hour sampling performance of the season ahead.

And the $45 per ticket show brought out a good turnout of more than 200 people who enjoyed the night and a nice way to kick off the summer.

Party rating … ‘4 outa 5′

It could become a social event of the season next year.
