Fallen limb injured worker taking down tree

MILFORD BAY A worker was taken to hospital after a branch fell on him while he was taking down a tree Thursday.

Police say they received a call regarding a male injured while attempting to remove a tree.

They says that on July 17 at approximately 1:20 p.m. OPP responded to a call to assist with traffic control for ambulance in the area of Muskoka Road 118 West, Bracebridge.  

Police are investigating the cause of the workplace accident.

Initial investigation has found that a tree branch fell on top of the male while cutting into the tree in the MilfordBay area.

The male was transported to the hospital by paramedica with unknown injuries.

The investigation is on-going and no further details are available at this point in time.
