Macbeth, Three Munschketeers and City of Angels in Barrie

BARRIELooking for some summer classics?

Theatre by the Bay continues it 13th season with more enthusiasm and talent as ever.

After kicking it off with the Nine Mile Portage, our three professional productions left for our 2014 season are sure to impress.

Macbeth, playing to July 26th at St. Vincent Square Park has been a huge success so far as Simcoe audiences experience our séance version of the Shakespearian classic.

For just $12, you can experience the spirituality, mistrust and guilt of Macbeth’s ghost as five teenagers channel the spirits from the gruesome tale.

The Three Munschketeers, playing from August 11th to August 30th at the Mady Centre for the Performing Arts is this year’s Young Company production. A mixture of The Three Musketeers and the famous Robert Munsch, this production will amuse all ages for $8 a ticket.

City of Angels, a Tony-award winning musical has been brought to Barrie by our Main Company, playing August 7th to August 30th at the Mady Centre for the Performing Arts. This musical acts as a dual-feature when audiences watch the working of a crime novelist (Stine) as well as the enactment of his work and main character detective (Stone) as if in black and white film. For $25, this murder mystery/comedy is not to be missed.

Tickets are on sale now for these fantastic productions. Group packages are also available for friends, staff, and whomever you please, along with Theatre by the Bay’s knowledgeable and experienced assistance. Attached is our 2014 newsletter.
