Muskoka To-DAILY

Grand ideas for Gravenhurst meeting Aug. 23 Dock on the Bay @ 2 p.m.

GRAVENHURST — What’s your grand idea for Gravenhurst?

Is it no cars downtown? A Muskoka Wharf Wonderland? Muskoka Centre movie studio? A traffic circle at the entrance to town?

It’s not just politicians, wouldbe politicians, average citizens and movers and shakers who are scratching their heads for answers to the age old question all small towns face.

Come find out.

After a feeble and forgotten municipal effort in June, consultant Stuart Morley, a bit of a numbers man, and some agitated “concerned” friends have put together some interesting numbers he will be presenting Saturday afternoon at Dock on the Bay.

His presentation is called: In Search of Positive Change For Gravenhurst and Muskoka

He says he will be presenting, “to concerned citizens,” the insights of his recent research August 23 at 2 p.m.

Because of interest, and limited capacity, he asks anyone interest to contact contact John or Denise Cooper at 705 687-2133, or email

They expect to have more than 100 people join them.
