Woman, 22, crashes pickup in Lake Joseph, charged with impaired driving early Sunday
MUSKOKA LAKES TWP. — Police have charged a young woman with impaired driving after an early morning accident in which a pickup truck crashed into Lake Joseph Sunday.
OPP officers arrested and charged the female driver following her crashing into Lake Joseph.
They say that on August 17, 2014 at 7:15 a.m. Bracebridge OPP received a call for an erratic driver of a pickup truck on Muskoka Road 169, Muskoka Lakes Twp.
The female driver of the pickup truck then crashed into Lake Joseph near Hallett’s Road off of Muskoka Road 169.
The female driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
A thorough investigation was conducted by Bracebridge OPP members and the driver was arrested and charged for impaired driving.
Brittany Beukers, 22, of Toronto has been charged with:
CC 253(1)(a) Driving While Ability Impaired
CC 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
Beukers is to appear in Bracebridge Court on September 23, 2014 to answer to her charges.
