Bracebridge woman’s death in auto accident near Beatrice Town Line has police seeking witnesses

BRACEBRIDGE — A Bracebridge woman died Wednesday afternoon when she was involved in an accident near the Beatrice Town Line.

Provincial police say they responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Manitoba Street near Beatrice Town Line in Bracebridge at 4 p.m. May 31, 2017 that claimed the the life of 56-year-old Shirley Bowman.

Two occupants from the second vehicle were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit and ask that anyone with information please contact Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
