GHS presents two plays Sunday, Monday nights: ‘She Kills Monsters’ and ‘Action News’

ghs final copy (Small)That’s Gravenhurst High School Sunday and Monday night, as they present a play called “She Kills Monsters,” which is paired with a curtain raiser called “Action News.”

Agnes is a popular cheerleader, and her little sister is into fantasy role-playing games.

When Agnes loses Tilly in a car accident, all she’s left with is the Dungeons and Dragons adventure, which her sister wrote.

Agnes decides to find a dungeon master to help her explore the quest.

Along the way, she meets Tilly’s friends, learns about who her sister was, and kills and a whole armada of monsters.

The show runs Sunday July 18 and 19 at Gravenhurst High School.

The curtain goes up at 7 p.m.

Admission is pay-what-you-can.

The play alternates between scenes from the real world and the fantasy adventure world.
