Gravenhurst man charged in theft of camper trailer in Bracebridge

BRACEBRIDGE — A Gravenhurst man has been charged with possession of stolen property after a camper trailer was taken from a locked location in Bracebridge last week.

Provincial police say that  on July 5, 2017, OPP officers in Bracebridge began an investigation into the theft of a camper trailer, stolen from a locked compound in Bracebridge on Tuesday, July 4, and made an appeal to members of the public for information.

Police soon received tips relating to this crime and on July 6, 2017 located the stolen camper at an address in Gravenhurst.

John Foley, 32, has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime CC354(1)(a) and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on August 29, 2017 to answer to his charge.

Police would like to thank all members of the public that assisted by calling in with tips and information.
