3 vehicles in crash on Hwy. 12 in Orillia Wednesday

RAMARA TWP. — One driver remains in serious condition after three-vehicle collision on Hwy. 12 Wednesday.
Provincial plice in Orillia are investigating the serious accident Wednesday January 3.
They say that about 4:45 p.m. they responded to a crash involving three vehicles on Highway 12 south of Concession Road A in Ramara Township.
Emergency Medical Services and Ramara Fire responded.
One vehicle was travelling northbound and the other two vehicles were travelling southbound on Highway 12 when the collision took place.
One driver had to be extricated from his vehicle and suffered serious injuries. He is still in hospital, his condition deemed to be critical, but stable.
Both drivers of the other two vehicles involved were also transported to hospital and later released.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (TTCI) is assisting and the investigation is ongoing.
